PRMP Workshop #1

We hope you can join us for one of three scheduled workshops to dig deeper into some of the themes of this round of engagement for the parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Come prepared to work! At these sessions, attendees will break up into small groups to talk through the topics that interest them most. Choose two topics to dig into, but help us understand your needs for all of the topics when the session regroups for a broader discussion at the end of the session.

• How can we make the best use of limited existing indoor and outdoor recreation space?
• What considerations do we need for age based programming and amenity design? - Are there age groups who aren't being served in a way that meets the community's need?
• We want everyone in Guelph to feel welcome and excited to participate. What barriers might exist and how can we make people feel more welcome in our community parks and recreation programs?
• Are there things we can do differently that would increase your family’s participation in rec activities?
