Ward HCD Plan Open House #3

Join us for the Ward HCD Plan Open House on March 30, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at the Italian Canadian Club (135 Ferguson St, Guelph).

The project team will share the results of the HCD Plan Phase to date including the cultural heritage characteristics of the Ward HCD and draft policies and guidelines for contributing and non-contributing properties. You will also learn about the City’s Heritage Permit Process. You will be able to provide feedback, and to ask any questions that you may have to the project team.

You can also join us in creating a “Community Quilt”, where we’ll bring together your drawings and words describing what you love most about the Ward. See artwork of the Ward created and shared by your neighbours, and share your memories of small businesses that used to be in the neighbourhood.

If you are not able to attend the open house, the materials will also be posted on Have Your Say along with opportunities to provide your feedback.
