The preferred option design is excellent along with the new plaza .But the best part is the trail extension east to Arthur st.We at GCAT (Guelph Coalition for Active Transportation ) gcat.ca are promoting this Rail Trail be a South Trans Canada Trail (TCT) extension all the way to Victoria Road connection all the exciting new developments close by. We also would like this bridge extended in length towards Wellington st to allow for a future underpass trail under the Macdonell st bridge connecting to the North side of the existing TCT.
