How can I participate right now?
Thanks to everyone who shared feedback on the playground design options between March 3 and March 25, 2026. You can have a look at the two design options below.
We'll use that feedback to create a final design for construction slated for the summer of 2026!

Phases
Design options and idea sharing
Early in 2025 we shared some design options with the community for feedback. Read about what we did and what we heard in our phase one summary report. We'll be back later in 2025 with an updated design based on your feedback. We'll ask for your feedback on the new design again and dig into specific playground elements with you this summer before finalizing the design and moving ahead with construction. We expect to open the new park in 2026.
How we engaged you
Take some time between March 17 and April 6, 2025 to share your thoughts about the three different ideas created for the Kortright East area park located at 249 Ambrous Crescent. Your feedback will help us design and build a park that is welcoming and fun for everyone.
You can download and review all three designs in this package. Design images are shown throughout the survey for your reference.
In the survey we'll ask you to:
- tell us about the neighbourhood and location to help us enhance what is already special about the area in the design
- share what do you like and what don't you like as much in each design option
- compare different features across all three designs
- let us know about any specific accessibility features that will help to make the park inclusive for the people who live nearby.
