Playground replacements 2025

Help us design three playgrounds we’re replacing by summer 2026

We took what we heard from our first round of engagement and designed 2 options for each park. Before we finalize designs, we want to hear from you! What elements and features do you prefer?

Between November 26-December 17, please take some time to complete a survey (or three!) and share your thoughts on one or more of these playgrounds:

  • O’Connor Lane Park (31 O’Connor Lane)
  • Severn Drive Park (125 Severn Drive)
  • Woodland Glen Park (30 Woodland Glen Drive)

We want you to tell us:

  • Which layout do you prefer?
  • Which options have the best elements and colour schemes?
  • Which playground designs have the best inclusive and accessible features?

Contributions to this consultation are closed for evaluation and review. The project team will report back on key outcomes.

What's next?

After gathering and analyzing all the feedback from our engagement efforts, we'll use this data to establish the requirements for new play equipment designs. We will then collaborate with specialized playground designers to create these new designs. Once the design options are finalized, we will choose the top two designs for each park to present to you. The designs that receive the most votes will be implemented during construction. Don't forget to subscribe to stay updated and informed.

Final designs and plans for construction will be shared in the Fall of 2025, with construction starting Summer 2026.
