Sloan Hill Park Design
We are excited to announce the design of the new Sloan Hill Park at 106 Beaumont Crescent!
Sloan Hill Park is a 0.37 hectare (0.91 acre) vacant lot that will be developed as a neighborhood park. This park will include a combined junior/senior playground with rubber surfacing. There is space for a recreation feature such as a half basketball court or lawn games like bocce or table tennis.
Neighbourhood Parks are smaller parks meant to serve people who live in the immediate area and form one piece of a greater network of open spaces, trails, and parkland.
Guelph's Parks and Recreation Master Plan defines the different types of parks using a classification system and ensures that our parks located throughout our community meet the needs of the city and the people who live here now and in the future.
