Guelph Transit: Future Ready Action Plan Update

We’re halfway through Transit’s 10-year Future Ready Action Plan, and we’re taking a step back to see what’s working and what might need to change. As part of this review, we want to hear from people who use transit and those who don’t. We’ll be looking at things like routes, how services are delivered, Mobility Services, and more.

How can I participate right now?

We've got three ways for you to share your experiences with Guelph Transit and your ideas for improving the Future Ready Transit Plan between May 22 – June 21.

  • Our team will also be out talking with the community. Be sure to say hi and engage with us if you see us at festivals, parks and community spaces this spring.

Take our 5 to 7 minute survey to share what’s working for you now and what we can do differently to make transit an even better option for you.

Our comment board is open! here, you can share your ideas for transit with the whole community and see more ideas shared by others

You can also use a map if you'd like to draw your desired transit routes for our team to consider

Developing options

June 22, 2026 4:00 AM - September 1, 2026 3:59 AM

We’re reviewing what we heard in the first round of engagement, and developing some options to consider. We're finding ways that we hope will help to improve transit for our users while attracting more people to choose transit as an option that works for them.

We’ll be sure to post a summary of what we heard in the first round of engagement later this summer.
