Try Disc Golf at Margaret Greene
Hey Guelph! In 2023, we heard that there was a need for a beginner disc golf loop to help grow the sport and create accessible opportunities for recreation in Guelph. Parks staff proposed Margaret Greene Park as a possible location where a temporary three-hole disc golf loop was installed this past summer (2024).
Thank you for taking our survey! It is now closed. Based on community feedback from the survey, the three-hole disc golf loop will become a permanent feature in Margaret Greene Park (80 Westwood Road). You can read our engagement summary to review what we did, heard and will be doing, along with next steps for this project. All engagement signage will be replaced with disc golf specific signage in the New Year. The permanent loop is located in the northeastern section of the park, beyond the soccer fields. Please see the map below for details of the location:

About Disc Golf
Disc golf is a rapidly growing sport that combines ultimate frisbee and golf. Players move from hole-to-hole, trying to get their disc into the disc golf basket at each hole. The goal is to complete the course in as few throws as possible. There are currently two, disc golf courses in Guelph, at Riverside Park and Eastview Park.
Please note: This project began in an older version of our website. Some of the tools and information may appear different than originally designed.

Thanks for your interest in disc golf at Margaret Greene Park!
We’ve added a new temporary short disc golf loop and want to know if you think a disc golf course is a good fit for this park. Between June 3 and October 25, come and try the new temporary loop at Margaret Greene Park and let us know if this sport is a good addition to the neighbourhood.
