Victoria Road, Stone Road and McQuillan’s Bridge EA Study
We are conducting a study to evaluate and recommend solutions for roads and bridges to improve the road networks at Victoria Road South and Stone Road East including McQuillan’s bridge (also known as structure 116). The study is based on recommendations in the 2022 Transportation Master Plan and the Guelph Innovation District Secondary Plan, which show upgrades are needed to several key roads in Guelph to support new neighbourhoods planned in the Guelph Innovation District. The project will study and recommend preferred solutions and preliminary designs for McQuillans Bridge and the roads and bridges at Victoria Road South and Stone Road East. The study will follow the processes outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA).
Through two phases of public engagement, we will be seeking input on:
- The Problem-Opportunity Statement for McQuillan’s Bridge
- The criteria that will be used to evaluate Alternative Solutions for McQuillan’s Bridge
- Alternative Solutions for McQuillan’s Bridge
- Alternative Design Concepts for Victoria Road South and Stone Road East
