Race To Zero
Consultation has concluded - for now.
About Race To Zero
Climate change is happening around the world and right here in Guelph. The City has set targets to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and become a net zero carbon community by 2050 or earlier.
To fight climate change the community must work together. We encourage you to join the discussion, ask questions, and share feedback so we can all Race to Zero by 2050.
How to participate
It's not easy being green. Or is it? Tell us what you do to contribute to a green Guelph and a healthy planet or tell us what is getting in the way of doing the greener thing. Participate in the forum below.
Got solar? Here comes the sun. We'll show you ours if you show us yours. Use the map tool below to see where the City of Guelph has invested in solar and, if you want to share your solar powered places, add your own pin. Check out the map to see which Guelph neighbours are generating clean energy.
Show us your solar
We'll show you ours if you show us yours. The green pins indicate where the City of Guelph has invested in solar. We are proud of the energy we save using solar in our facilities. If you want to show off your solar too, pin your solar. Pick a pin to tell us if your solar is residential or business based and you can even tell us the size of your system in kW.
How to: Find your spot on the map. Click on an orange pin for residential or a blue pin for business and drag it to the right spot on the map. Enter the size of your solar in the comment field on the pin.
