This consultation has concluded and staff are working on a summary of what we've heard and next steps.

The Route 19 Hanlon Creek will be extended to Stone Road Mall in 2023. This means that we’re reviewing bus schedules on this route and figuring out new potential route and stop locations.

If you’re a part of the Woodland Glen neighbourhood, we want to hear from you in particular because it’s important for us to know if having a bus in your neighbourhood is beneficial to you.

Take some time to review the potential route and stop location options, then let us know your thoughts on how we can make route 19 work best for our community.

How the community participated

Between January 10 and 25, 2023, members of the community were invited to:

  • Complete the survey below with targeted questions about routing options, stop locations and scheduling
  • Ask us a question or share your thoughts on the Q&A tool
  • Attend one of our open houses in person at Scottsdale Library (650 Scottsdale Dr., Guelph)where our staff will be on-hand to answer your questions and receive your feedback:
    • Tuesday, January 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, January 18 from 3 to 6 p.m.

The results of our community engagement and comes next is posted in our document section.

  • Share Hi, I missed the opportunity to do provide feedback and the Survey - Future Ready Transit - Route 19 changes | Have Your Say Guelph for as it is now closed.  But I am hoping this can be forwarded to the appropriate team. When I heard about this route, I was excited because my sister works in the South End, near Clair Road and at Stone Road Mall.  I frequently have to provide her a ride as taking a bus from South End to the mall takes too long as it requires 2 transfers and sometimes need to wait while transferring at the mall.  In addition, I know others who live at the South End and go to the mall, so it will help them as well as it provides an easy option to go to the Mall Area.  I look forward to having this route implemented and not sure how long it will take, but I hope the time travel is not too long from South End to the Mall.   Thank you, Anwaar  on Facebook Share Hi, I missed the opportunity to do provide feedback and the Survey - Future Ready Transit - Route 19 changes | Have Your Say Guelph for as it is now closed.  But I am hoping this can be forwarded to the appropriate team. Thank you for sharing your feedback Anwaar.

We have shared your support for the expanded route with our Team.  Results should be posted in just a few weeks.

We hope you, and your sister enjoy the service!
