Consultation has concluded

In 2022, Guelph transit launched two pilot programs to better serve our community.

The Kids ride Free pilot program launched March 1, 2022 to offer free transit to kids under the age of 12 for one year.

The Sliding Scale Affordable Bus Pass one year pilot program launched April 1, 2022 with the hopes to make transit more affordable to those in our community who need it most.

In February 2023, Council approved the continuation of these programs as a permanent service to the community.  Thanks to everyone who took advantage of these programs and provided their feedback on their effectiveness and impact.  Your support made a big difference

    Kids Ride Free Survey

    Calling all users of the Kids Ride Free pilot program!

    In March 2022, the City of Guelph started a pilot program so that kids under the age of 12 can ride free.  Kids aged 5-12 still need an OnYourWay card to be a registered user, but their busfare is free during this project.

    Guelph staff plan to ask City Council to continue the program, and we'd like to share the opinions and experiences from users like yourself with Council to help them make their decision.   

    If you and your child(ren) have been using the Kids Ride Free program, we would like to hear from you!, 

    This survey should take you about 10 minutes to complete.

    Affordable Bus Pass Survey

    Calling all users of the Sliding Scale Affordable Bus Pass program!

    Did your transit rates drop to $20 or $4 in April 2022?  That drop is part of the Sliding Scale Affordable Bus Pass pilot program, and right now that program only runs until the end of March 2023.

    Guelph staff plan to ask City Council to continue the program, and we'd like to share the opinions and experiences from users like yourself with Council to help them make their decision.   

    If you are part of this pilot program, you may have received a phone call from Oracle Poll,  these questions are the same as their questions.  Please only complete this survey is you did not respond to the answers already on the phone. 

    If you have chosen to complete this survey online instead, it should take you about 10 minutes to complete.
