Urban Forest Management Plan
Consultation has concluded
The Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) provides strategic guidance over 20 years (2013-2032) to implement key recommendations carried out in four five-year management plans. The five-year plans helps us evaluate our work, improving our policies and practices by learning from our outcomes. So far, we’ve completed one of the four five-year plans and we’re getting ready to report to Council on:
- The state of the urban forest
- Work we have completed
- What we’re still working on
- The effectiveness of the UFMP – how we are doing
- Any changes in recommendations
We want to hear from you:
We want to hear what you think about how we’re managing Guelph’s urban forest and how the UFMP can continue to be effective as Guelph grows.
